What does the phrase "when you know better, you do better." mean?

    The quote "When you know better you do better" persoanlly means, when you know whats the right thing to do, you do it regardless what anybody says or thinks. When you know you're capable, of doing better you go ahead and do it because the decisions mainly affect you.

        I think it means if you know you shouldnt do a certain thing, and you know its a bad thing and you know you can do better than that, you should do the better thing. When you know a better solution to a problem, either a small or big problem, you do the right thing.

      If you something is bad do the right thing, it will make you proud of yourself, it could save you from a lot of trouble, and you know you will be doing the right thing. It will make you a smarter person because you are making smart decisions, and you know what not to do.
